Ontario Provides Free E-Learning for Job Seekers
In order to continue the Ontario recovery plan, the governments of Ontario and Canada created an initiative to qualify people who want to relocate into the labour market.
The initiative is a partnership between LinkedIn and First Work. Citizens who are unemployed, underemployed or in career transition and wish to enroll in training courses can do so through the E-Learning platform.
Courses can be accessed from multiple devices and no LinkedIn profile is required. By signing up, the user will have access to a free Learning License for 6 months.
To motivate, LinkedIn also offers the possibility of earning up to $150.00 with the completion of specific courses on the platform.
To apply, the candidate must go to LinkedIn.FirstWork.org.
