CERCA DE 800 MIL ESTRANGEIROS

em sua maioria de nacionalidade brasileira.
Segundo as informações, a comunidade de
imigrantes brasileiros é de cerca de 240
mil pessoas. Em segunda posição está
a comunidade de cidadãos do Reino
Unido, com quase 46 mil habitantes.
O terceiro lugar é ocupado por
cidadãos de Cabo Verde, que
representam cerca de 36 mil
cidadãos imigrantes.
Outras nacionalidades que ocupam um
lugar entre as 10 maiores comunidades
de imigrantes em Portugal, são:
● Índia (35.416);
● Itália (34.039);
● Angola (31.761);
● França (27.512);
● Ucrânia (25.445);
● Nepal (23.839);
● Guiné-Bissau (23.737).
Entre os fatores que atraem os imigrantes para o país,
estão a segurança e os benefícios fiscais para o residente
não habitual (principalmente para aqueles provenientes da
União Europeia).
Além disso, o relatório indica que a maioria dos imigrantes
estão registrados no litoral do país, em distritos como Lisboa,
Setúbal e Faro.

live in the country, most of them of Brazilian
nationality.
According to information, the community
of Brazilian immigrants is around
240,000 people. In second place is the
community of citizens of the United
Kingdom, with almost 46 thousand
inhabitants.
The third place is occupied by
citizens of Cape Verde, who represent
around 36 thousand immigrant
citizens.
Other nationalities that occupy a
place among the 10 largest immigrant
communities in Portugal are:
● India (35,416);
● Italy (34,039);
● Angola (31,761);
● France (27,512);
● Ukraine (25,445);
● Nepal (23,839);
● Guinea-Bissau (23,737).
Among the factors that attract immigrants to the country
are security and tax benefits for non-habitual residents
(mainly those from the European Union).
In addition, the report indicates that most immigrants are
registered on the coast of the country, in districts such as Lisbon,
Setúbal and Faro.
