COLUNA DE EVENTOS LIUNA 183 RETIREE APPRECIATION DAY EVENTS CORNER

n the last July 7, 2023, the
event organized by LiUNA
OLocal 183 in celebration
of Retiree Appreciation Day at
Downsview Park took place.

The purpose of the event was to
pay tribute to retired members
of the union, highlighting the
importance and contribution
of these members to the
construction of LiUNA and its
legacy. According to Jack Oliveira,
business manager, LiUNA is only
in the position it is today, because
of the excellent work of retirees.

The event was marked by the
meeting of several retirees from
the union, in addition to the
presence of members of the
executive board of LiUNA Local
183.
These included Jack Oliveira,
Business Manager, and his team
and Joseph S. Mancinelli, LiUNA
International Vice President
Canadian Director & Regional
Manager for Central and Eastern
Canada who gave moving
speeches in appreciation to the
LiUNA community.

In addition to these important
figures, the event also had
the participation of Carmem
Principato, business
and Executive Board of Local
506.
